For our Chapter, October was a month of recognition and outreach.  Two awards programs and a newspaper insert later, we have had a chance to see some of the great work of local firms displayed, been able to hear both the communities and outside professionals critiques, and hopefully raised the awareness of the importance of quality design in the built environment.

I want to provide recognition of another kind, to those people who volunteered their time and energy to helped to put together the great activities we have all enjoyed this past year.
