Please join us for an evening of passionate and inspiring discourse, as we present a panel discussion focusing on housing issues in America and prototype solutions to low-income homeownership. The evening will be hosted by the University of Oregon, with participants from Square One Villages, a non-profit organization creating self-managed communities of low-cost tiny homes for people in need of housing. They will talk about how their EVE (Emerald Village Eugene) project in Eugene is developing new models for affordable housing and community development standards. Square One Villages has received national recognition for their efforts to improve the housing situation, and they will be able to share the history of their evolution. Currently, they have brought together a collaboration team of local planning, design, and architecture firms who are all providing individual home designs to be included in the new multi-family community. To learn more about the project and organization, please check out their website: SquareOneVillages.com.
