Learning Objectives:

Participants will recognize the business value of Building Information Modeling (BIM) by evaluating market data and technologies surrounding BIM, such as Construction Technology, available Cloud Based Technologies, and Third Party Application Development to create successful projects around the world, including projects in the Pacific Northwest.

This presentation will discuss the benefits of BIM and will highlight:

  • The Business Value of BIM
  • Technologies surrounding BIM
  • How BIM is used in the AECO industry
  • How BIM has been successfully used in projects in the Northwest

Description:
Building Information Modeling (BIM) allows the ability to make informed decisions earlier in the design process while meeting the demands of tight budgets, shorter construction timelines, and model deliverables for use in building management. Because of these capabilities, we are continuing to see a rapid adoption of BIM worldwide.

 About the Presenter: 

Sash is a registered Architect and LEED Accredited Professional who holds a Masters of Architecture from Montana State University. Sash’s experience includes project management, BIM management, and design for architectural firms in California, Montana, and Oregon. As an Autodesk Certified Instructor, Sash provides Revit Architecture training and solutions for AECO firms.
