Description: This course is designed to give attendees an overview of what Occupant Evacuation Operation (OEO) is. Specific scenarios, benefits and code requirements will be an important part of this training.

 Learning Objectives: After completion of this course, participants will:

1. Have a brief history of the development of OEO and the reason it is being implemented.

2. Learn the specifics on how the OEO process works, including how to put OEO evacuation in place and the steps needed to evacuate quickly and efficiently.

3. Gain an understanding of the role that Variable Message Signs (VMS) play during an OEO evacuation and how they are central to helping tenants get out safely.

4. Have details on how the current code has been revised to work with OEO and the specifics on what is required to implement.
