2018 AIA-SWO DESIGN AWARDS
The AIA Southwestern Oregon Chapter is excited to announce the 2018 Design Awards Program. The purpose of this program is to celebrate achievements in design excellence by member firms; to generate greater public interest in architecture; and to honor the architects, clients and consultants who work together to enhance our built environment.
It has been four years since the last program and we are pleased to have a jury of distinguished colleagues to evaluate the design submissions for this award program including Gary Aquilina, AIA, principal at CAS Architects, Carrie Strickland, FAIA, principal of Works Progress Architects, Cassandra Keller, principal of Clark Keller, Robert Hastings, FAIA, Agency Architect, TriMet, and Ruth Baleiko, AIA, Partner,Miller Hill Seattle Office.

We will celebrate the winners of the AIA-SWO Design Awards on Tuesday, June 12, in the Ballroom of the UO Ford Alumni Center.

Code Unlimited will be teaching a four hour code seminar, "2018 Code Updates and Accessibility Topics". This seminar will identify the key differences between the 2015 IBC and the 2018 IBC codes, with a focus on regulations common to most building types and those that commonly misunderstood or misapplied.
