WHERE WE STAND
In a recent press release AIA National spoke of the negative impacts the recent immigration and visa restrictions will have on business and the profession of architecture, outlining seven principles in response to these restrictions. For more information, see the original press release and the AIA National statement on immigration and visa restrictions.
As members of the AIA-SWO Board, we feel it is important to re-emphasize our commitment to core values of equity, diversity, inclusivity and environmental responsibility. Treating people everywhere with fairness, dignity and respect is paramount. Exposure and collaboration with other perspectives is an essential part of architecture.
