This Thursday at Three
Does it feel like the Holiday cheer is starting to seep in around the edges? Maybe it's the brisk weather this week and the scarves people are wearing to fend it off. Maybe it's the darkness encroaching before the work day is done. Maybe it's the long lines at the Post Office. But it's in the air, alright.
Soon people will be quietly humming their favorite carols, hoping nobody is noticing. But we do notice. In fact, we want to join in! Who has pleasant memories of caroling alone?
While you're tending to your year-end chores, reflect on all the good that came your way this year. And begin to wish for what 2012 might bring. How about more peace and prosperity, just for starters?
We Need Another Board Member
Our slate for the 2012 AIA-SWO is nearly full. We're lacking just one person to be our secretary. If you'd be interested in joining this list of chapter leaders, please contact Kurt Albrecht.

Affiliates Wanted
The membership committee started the year with a lofty goal: 90 new affiliate members in 2011. You've probably seen an email or two from Heidi Peschel. A few of you have replied, and she's grateful. The rest of you should expect a phone call from Heidi pretty soon. (If you've worked with Rubensteins Contract Carpet, you know that no one successfully hides from Heidi and her cohorts.)
She's looking for leads, candidates, referrals. Who would you like to see join AIA-SWO as an affiliate? You could save yourself (and Heidi) a little trouble by clicking here. (Thanks.)
